As a high school student and in his first year of college Christopher Walter Fredrickson was
a committed democrat. That all changed in 2000, when becoming a republican after attending
a GOP meeting after being invited by a friend. Christopher swiftly changed his registration
from democrat to republican, and worked with the Brevard College Young Republicans and gave
speeches at the college on behalf of George W Bush.
After completing 3 years at Brevard College, majoring in journalism, Christopher then worked
for a short period of time at The Charlotte Observer newspaper. Christopher soon realized that
news was not indeed “balanced” and that simply reporting the facts was dead and everyone felt
they were Woodward and Berntein.
Christopher began listening to indie podcaster Mark Yaxley on the Poli-ticking Time Bomb. He
then contacted the host of the Politi-ticking Time Bomb and found out how to podcast.
The first episode of Right on Right w/Christopher Fredrickson was uploaded and ready on April
25th 2007. The first show featured short interviews with Senator Elizabeth Dole and NC Supreme
Court member Bob Edmunds.
Throughout the first year listenership was steady, but through his political analysis of
situations at hand, he decided to run for NC House in July of 2007. The run was short, being
only 26 years old and without a degree was a shortfall for Christopher.
About a year into Right on Right w/Christopher Fredrickson, Christopher has come into his own,
after being picked up by Chimpsy Radio. “I love every host here, and the cool thing is that we
are all friends here, this is better than FM this is better than FM because we are given total
control of our shows and I think a conservative pact like we have here is missing in mainstream
radio”, says Christopher..
ROR, mixes common sense political analysis with some amazing guests such as other hosts from
Chimpsy Radio, politicians, conservative activists, and every day people who want their voices
to be heard and to make a difference. Sometimes Christopher comes off strong sometimes he is
humorous, “It doesn’t get more real than this”, says the host. “I am honored to be a part of the
Chimpsy Radio team and I cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds not just for myself, but my
conservative friends on the Chimpsy Radio talk lineup”
Right on Right w/Christopher Fredrickson airs 4pm EST on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Chimpsy
Radio and the podcast is available for free on itunes (itpc://www.gcast.com/u/christandcoffee/main.xml)
